Ida (Sensabaugh) Botkin, 93, of McDowell, died on Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at Staunton Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on April 3, 1904 at Rockbridge Baths, a daughter of Franklin and Cora (Coiner) Sensabaugh.
On March 28, 1948 she was married to George Marvin Botkin of McDowell.
She was a homemaker. She attended McDowell United Methodist Church and helped Stonewall Ruritan Club with various community functions.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a brother, Roscoe Sensabaugh of Sandy, Ore.; a step-daughter, Bernadine Wimer of Staunton; two step-sons, Clyde of Verona and Clarence Botkin of Ft. Worth, Texas; seven step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandson; nephews and other relatives; and a special friend, Earl McCray of Head Waters.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and William Millburn.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Townsend with burial in Doe Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be H.C. Greene, Melton Sensabaugh, Charles Varner, Dean Moyers, Elmo Cobb and Sidney Simmons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earl McCray and members of the Stonewall Ruritan Club.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
