Hattie B. Gum, 80, of Mustoe, died Saturday, May 6, 2000 at the Springs Nursing Center.

She was born May 12, 1919, at Mustoe, a daughter of John Sidney and Cynthia Viola (Griffin) Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Bob” Gum; a brother, John David Hamilton; and three sisters, Florence H. Beathe, Rita Madeline Kelly and Nellie Harper Hull.

She was a homemaker; a member of the Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church at Mustoe.

Survivors include a nephew and his wife, William and Billie Jo Hull of Hot Springs.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald S. Rose with burial in Hamilton Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Frank Gayhart, Miles Kelly, David Ralston, Raymond Beathe, Jimmy Hiner, Homer Simmons, Dennis Hull and Carl Chestnut.

Honorary pallbearers will friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at Obaugh Funeral Home.
