Harper Harrison Hedrick, 55, a farmer of Blue Grass, died Wednesday morning, January 29, 1992 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 11, 1936 at Cherry Grove, WV, a son of Roy and Sallie (Harper) Hedrick.

He was a member of the Forks of the Water United Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy G. Hedrick of Blue Grass; two daughters, Debbie Jennings of Durham, N.C. and Dianne Whetzel of Franklin, WV; son, Donald Hedrick of Blue Grass; sister, Mary Armentrout of Cherry Grove, WV; five grandchildren; one step-granddaughter and one step-great-granddaughter.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Dennis Sites and Earl Bible. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Conley Colaw, Robert Warner, Lanny Wimer, Jacob Hevener, Stuart Simmons, Charles Armentrout, James Gum and Jackie Will.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
