Glenna Kirkpatrick

Glenna Dale Kirkpatrick, 68, of Staunton and formerly of McDowell, died Friday, March 23, 2007 at Shenandoah Valley Nursing Home in Buena Vista. She was born January 15, 1939 in Staunton a daughter of the late Elvert Harvey and Bessie Jane (Huffman) Puffenbarger.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick attended Hiner Church of the Brethren. She was a homemaker and had worked at Basic-Witz Furniture Factory and also was a helper at the Stonewall Ruritan Club.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jenny Moats and a brother, Elvert Howard Puffenbarger.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Michele Kirkpatrick of Staunton, Eugene Kirkpatrick of Tampa Bay, FL and Timmy and Dawn Kirkpatrick of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Pitsensbarger of Baltimore, MD and a brother, Archie Puffenbarger of Margate, FL.
The body was cremated.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2007 at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell. A memorial service will follow the visitation.
