Glen Wallace Siron, 79, of Monterey, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1927 in Highland County a son of the late Lloyd Cameron and Ruth Hull (Faurote) Siron.
Mr. Siron served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had worked in Chicago as a mechanic and auto salesman; was a salesman for Snap-On Tools and he also owned a courier service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice (Sophie) Siron; four brothers, Leo, Ray, Clyde and Garrett Siron and three sisters, RosaLee Toman, Dorothy Barbour and Pauline Sullenberger.
Mr. Siron was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Randi L. Siron of Monterey; two daughters, Pamela Mahder and Cynthia Staber, both of Florida; two sons, Larry Siron of Florida and Ronald C. Siron of Illinois; three step-daughters, Darlene Hassler, Lyn Kleist and Robin Smith and three step-sons, Richard “Rusty”, Christopher and Shane Siron; three sisters, Doris V. Swadley of Staunton, Geraldine Turner of Fishersville and Judy Waybright of Monterey and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Upon Mr. Siron’s request the body was cremated and asked that there be no memorial service.
The family will receive friends at the homes of Randi Siron and Judy Waybright.
