Georgia Ruth Helmick

Georgia Ruth Helmick, 67, of Monterey, died on Thursday, November 5th, 1992 at her residence.

She was born on March 10, 1925 in Frost, W. Va., a daughter of Forrest and Uni Susan (Wall) Grimes.

On March 10th, 1965, she was married to Roland Helmick, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Doris Jean Grimes of Staunton, Virginia, Ruth Adkins of Cherry Grove, W.Va., and Patty Christine Ray of Grottoes; three sons, Earl Grimes of Philadelphia, Pa., Samuel Harlen Ray and Dannie Charles Ray, both of Hot Springs; two sisters, Trudy Harlow of Grottoes and Grace Sheets of Green Bank, W. Va.; two brothers, Edgar of Akron, Ohio, and Paul Grimes of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn, with burial at Asbury Cemetery near Monterey.

Pallbearers will be Denny Ray, Curtis and Ralph Rexrode, Berlie Simmons, Pete Puffenbarger and Michael Herold.
