Frank Jones Wilson, 83, of Monterey, died on Thursday evening, January 28, 1993 at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born on August 25, 1909 at Charleston, WV, a son of the late Frank and Phoebe (Jones) Wilson.
He was a lifetime member of Monterey United Methodist Church. He attended Monterey High School and Randolph Macon College. He was a construction engineer for the Virginia Department of Highways for 40 years. He served with the CB's in the Navy in World War II. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
On July 13, 1937 he married Lillian Weeks of Monterey, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John Frank Wilson of Hampton; a sister, Margaret Heyn of McLean; two grandchildren, Suzanne Wilson of Harrisonburg and Michael Wilson of Norcross, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A servicce will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Monterey United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Schill, with burial in Monterey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
