EDINBURG, VA Eunice Cauley Woodzell, 81, of Edinburg and formerly of Hot Springs passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1934 in Bath County a daughter of the late Paul Lee and Alice Katherine (Kershner) Cauley. Mrs. Woodzell was a homemaker and had worked in the laundry department at the Homestead. She was a member of Lifeline Ministries and most recently attended Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bingo, cooking, especially baking cake and was an avid Walmart shopper. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert "Jim" Woodzell, Jr.; her daughter, Patty Lorraine Kellison and her grandson, Dustin Kellison. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Robertson and husband, Calvin of Hot Springs; three sons, Michael Lee Cauley of Hot Springs, Johnny Kellison and wife, Mary of Edinburg and Donald Paul Kellison and wife, Patty of Natural Bridge Station; her grandchildren, Kevin Robertson, Amanda Hazelwood, Kristie Tucker, Michael Cauley, Deardra Kellison, Justin Kellison and Mary Doss; great-grandchildren, Caleigh, Zoee and Embrie Hazelwood, Kyle Robertson, Savanna Reed; Caleb, Aaron and Noah Tucker; Tara, Emily and Kenzie Doss, Brandi and Joshua Kellison and her brother, Paul Cauley of Roanoke. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church with the Pastor Glen Stinnett and Pastor Lorrie Aikens officiating. Burial will follow in Warm Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Russell Allen, Dickie Kershner, Russell Woodzell, Bart Ailstock, Billy Hodge and Johnny Kershner. Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
