FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED
Ethel Lee Frampton, 67, of Head Waters, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 30, 1954, in Staunton. a daughter of the late Wesley and Nora Lee (Helmick) Frampton.
Ethel had worked in the cafeteria at Highland County Public School for the past 14 and previously at Aileen. An avid glass collector, Ethel enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions to find her next prized piece of antique glassware. She also loved fishing and playing her scratch-off lottery tickets.
A kind, loving and caring soul, Ethel always placed others needs ahead of her own and would regularly donate to the Valley Mission. Above all, Ethel was and will always be remembered as a faithful partner and a devoted and loving mother to her son.
She is survived by her life-long companion and “the old man,” Loy Baer of Head Waters; their son, William Wesley Baer and partner, Falicia Judy of McDowell; granddaughter, Wrenslee Baer; sister, Rebecca Neuman and husband, Timothy of Fredericksburg; nephew, Robert Trimner and wife, Crissy of Fredericksburg; as well as great-nephew and great-niece, Aydin and Hannah Trimner.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Head Waters Cemetery with Rev. Andre Crummett officiating.
The staff of Obaugh Funeral Home will receive family and friends wishing to pay their respects between 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, October 22 nd .
