Elsie W. Eagle

Elise W. Eagle, 82, of Doe Hill, died Saturday morning, August 22, 1992 at Camelot Hall Nursing Home, Harrisonburg.

She was born on October 29, 1909 at Sugar Grove, WV, a daughter of Emory and Elva (Puffenbarger) Wilfong.

She was a member of Doe Hill United Methodist Church, the Women's Society and Highland County Senior Citizens. She had been a guest at Camelot Hall since October 20, 1989.

Surviving are her husband, Ray Eagle of Doe Hill; a daughter, Wanda E. Gokey of Highland Springs; a son, Jay E. Eagle of Doe Hill; three brothers, Paul of Brandywine, WV, Titus Clay of Franklin, WV, Emory H. Wilfong of Harrisonburg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Doe Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. Steve McMillion, with burial in Doe Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Edward J. and Alex R. Eagle, Lee and Adam Blagg, Thomas Jones and Edward Moyers.
