Edith Virginia Mullenax

Edith Virginia Mullenax, 81, formerly of Blue Grass, died Sunday night, June 13, 1993 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington.

She was born November 5, 1911 in Highland County, a daughter of Henry Walter and Mamie (Collins) Mullenax.

She had resided at The Manor nursing home of Natural Bridge. She was a member of New Church United Methodist Church of Blue Grass.

Survivors include two sisters, Gladys Swecker of Harrisonburg and Thelma Mullenax of Staunton; four brothers, John and Fred, both of Franklin, WV, Ben of Churchville, and Joe Mullenax of Blue Grass; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert, Eugene, C.W. and Dale Hammer, Jeff Eye, June and Chris Swecker, and Donald Mullenax.
