Earl Letcher Gutshall

Earl Letcher Gutshall, 60, of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Highland County, Va. died Saturday, June 6, 1992 at his home.

He was born October 14, 191 at Vanderpool, Va. , a son of Ray and Florence (Corbett) Gutshall.

On November 18, 1950 he married Julia A. Johnson, who survives.

He served in the Army and was a self-employed driver for American Cargo Co.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Deborah Gutshall of Osceola; a son, Earl D. Gutshall of Elkhart; two  sisters, Mrs. John Moody of South Hill, Va., and Mrs. Owen Mullenax of Nokesville, Va.; two brothers, Arnet of Monterey, Va. and Harold Gutshall of Woodbridge; grandson, Derek Gutshall.

Mr. Gutshall was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Gutshall; and a brother, Ray Gutshall Jr.

A service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alan, Grady, Eddie and Kevin Gutshall, Tom Mullenax and Gary Radford.
