Dorothy Varner

A graveside service for Dorothy Brown Varner, 80, Head Waters, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Sugar Grove, WV The Rev. Chris Weitzel will conduct the service.

Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, May 13, 1997 at bath County Community Hospital.

She was born August 18,1916, in Bath County and was the daughter of the late Emmett and Etta Moore Lightner.

Her husband, Clyde Varner, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a sister, Hazel Tolley of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
