Dorothy L. Simmons

Dorothy L. Simmons, 60, of Monterey, died Friday morning, June 3, 1994 at Bath County Community Hosptial.

She was born at Doe Hill on March 1,1934, a daughter of Robert Jake and Louella (Simmons) Simmons.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are a sister, Bertha Moran of Staunton; two brothers, Jake of Roanoke and Graham Simmons of West Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Turner, with burial in McKendree Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Altizer, Ezra Halterman, Alan Puffenbarger, Walter Bryan Jr., Roger Simmons Sr. and Elmer Halterman.
