Doris Wilson

Doris (Jusy) Wilson, 79, of Monterey, died Wednesday, February 19, 1997 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born on January 26, 1918 at Franklin, WV, a daughter of Charles H. and Mary Eva (Keister) Judy.

She was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church. She was a school teacher for 43 years in Bath and Highland counties and belonged to the Retired Teachers Association.

Her husband, Hale Wilson, died on October 8, 1996.

Surviving are a sister, Gertrude J. Gibson of Monterey; a niece and nephew; and several cousins.

Services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m. at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. William Moore and William C. Cox with burial in Green Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim, Ben and Holmes Stephenson, Bob Kelly, Scott Smith, Gibson and David Crummett and Richie Hevener.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
