Dora Rexrode

Dora S. Rexrode, 85, of Moyers, WV, died on Thursday, November 2, 1995 at Rockingham Memorial Hosptail, Harrisonbug, Va.

She was born on March 14, 1910 at Moyers, a daughter of William Edward and Louise Christina (Puffenbarger) Simmons.

She was a housewife, homemaker and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Ernest Rexrode, died on November 6, 1982.

Surviving are five daughters, Virginia Mae Pitsenbarger of Amerst, Va., Mary Elizabeth Eckard of Sugar Grove, Lena Margaret Simmons of Grottoes, Va., Annie Ruth Simmons of Bridgewater, Va., and Norma Jean Propst of Moyersl a son, Robert Russell Rexrode of Winchester, Va.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rexrode was preceded in death by two daughters Beulah Mabel and Louella Rexrode.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Norman Nilsen, with burial in St. Paul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home at McDowell, Va.
