Donnie Bussard

Donnie Glen Bussard, 51, died Sunday evening, May 14, 2000, at his residence.

He was born May 27, 1948, at Blue Grass, a son of Erwin Lewis and Lorrine Elizabeth (Simmons) Bussard of Monterey.

Prior to his illness, he was employed by Wampler. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Lewis Bussard on October 29, 1982.

Survivors include his parents; two sons, Rocky G. of Monterey and Christopher M. Bussard of Roanoke; three sisters, Betty Jean Tracy of Arbovale, W.Va., Janet E. Hunt and Lois Elaine White, both of Monterey; a brother, Raymond Allen Bussard of Monterey; three grandchildren, Tanner G. and Kayla L. Bussard and Brian S. Wimer; a companion, Patricia Ann Grogg of Monterey; and an aunt, Vesta Ruckman of Bolar.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Jerry Ginn and Leroy Dierth, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Michael and Gary Tracy, Dean and Randy Hunt and Richard and Dougie Bussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
