Dennis Randolph Ralston, Jr.

Dennis Randolph Ralston Jr., 55, of McDowell, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

He was born December 8, 1955 in Quantico, a son of the late Dennis R. Ralston Sr. and Ann Stoffel.

Mr. Ralston was an active member of Hiner Church of the Brethren. He was employed by Jack Beverage Construction and enjoyed riding his Harley.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ann P. and Ernie Stoffel of Burlington, NC; a sistr, Iris Homes of Graham, NC; a brother, Michael Ralston of Burlington, NC; a half-brother, Danny Maye of Burlington, NC; three step-children, Michael, Michelle and Ashley; and two step-grandchildren, Makayla and Grayson.

A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell, by the pastor Keith Witmer.

Burial was in Head Waters Cemetery.

Pallbearers were his cousins.
