Daisy Lowry

Daisy Ann Lowry, 96, formerly of Mustoe, died Sunday, January 4, 1998 at the District Home at Waynesboro.

She was born June 7, 1901, at Highland County, a daughter of Andrew Jackson and Cornelia Pricilla Rosella (Florence) Turner.

Se was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Frances Lowry, Edna McLaughlin and Stella Floyd, all of Waynesboro; Peggy Weaver of Hot Springs and Patsy Lesher of Belleview, Ohio; a brother, Ray Turner of Waynesboro; an adopted sister, Effie Floyd of Woodstock; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 30-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Ernest Lowry and five children, Minnie Harris, Helen Boggs, Dorothy, Lilly and Lloyd Lowry.

A service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Bradford Moles and Jack Harris with burial at the Riverview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robbie and Billy Weaver, Leroy and Gary McLaughlin, Donnie Floyd, Ernie and Darrell Boggs.

Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home.
