Cleo Virginia Hise, 83, of Hightown, died Tuesday morning, March 14, 2000 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville.
She was born March 23, 1916, at West Virginia, a daughter of Cleveland and Virgie Mae (Mick) Arbogast.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Libert Hise on December 28, 1969; infant twin boys; a daughter, Frances Armstrong; two sons, Berlie and Emerson Hise; two brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ruby and Joseph Simmons of Mill Gap and Mary June Crisco of Hightown; two sisters, Elizabeth Huffmand of Millboro and Elsie Kammerer of Indianan; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a step great-grandchild.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. James W. Moore and Jerry Ginn, with burial in the Hise Family Cemetery near Hightown.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Frank, Vernon and Richard Simmons, Ronnie Crisco, Ernie and Dewayne Hise and Allen Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
