Charlotte Bodkin

Charlotte Mae Bodkin, 61, died on Tuesday, September 9, 1997 at her home.

She was born on February 11, 1936, at Sugar Grove, a daughter of Elmer Clay and Nellie (Puffenbarger) Bodkin.

She attended Crummetts Run Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her mother, surviving are two sisters, Lorena Hoover of Brandywine and Karen Simmons of Franklin; a brother, Elmer Lee Bodkin of Sugar Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Boggs, with burial in Crummetts Run Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Hoover, Douglas Marsh, Brandon Simmons, Adrian Simmons, James Davis and Nelson Simmons.

Honorary pallbearers  will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
