Cecil Wolfe

March 7, 1939 — July 20, 2002

Cecil Edward Wolfe, 63, of the Mustoe community of Highland County, died Saturday, July 20, 2002, at Bath County Community Hospital.

Mr. Wolfe was born March 7, 1939, in Parnassus, and was a son of the late George Dewey and Fannie Helmick Wolfe.

He spent most of his life in Highland County doing various jobs in the community. He had been a Virginia Department of Transportation Department for a short time and was an active member of Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church.

He is survived by three brothers, Homer Wolfe of Monterey, Ernest Wolfe of Hot Springs, and Ray Wolfe of Texas; three sisters, Marie Wolfe of Lynchburg, Charlotte Lowry of Mitchelltown and Helen Higgins of Delaware, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pastor Donald E. Rose will conduct a graveside service 10 a.m. Tuesday at Asbury Cemetery, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may also call at Obaugh Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to Victory Chapel Church, Monterey, Va. or the Highland County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 268, Monterey, Va. 24465.
