Carolyn Hise

Carolyn Sue Hise, 56, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her home.

She was born November 6, 1961, in Clermont, Fla., the only daughter of the late David White and Ethel Mae (Tolliver) Robinson.

On November 16, 1989 she married Michael “Mike” Hise.

Carolyn was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed her pets, taking care of flowers, going to truck pulls with her boys and most especially loved her grandbabies. She will be remembered as the one to open her heart to anyone in need.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Melissa Goins and husband, John of Lewisburg, W.Va., Lori Robinson of Charlottesville and Elizabeth Daugherty of Westminster, S.C.; two sons, Fred Michael Hise and wife, Patricia of Warm Springs and Jonathan Lee Hise of Hot Springs; five brothers Dave Robinson of Hot Springs and Leroy, Thomas, Ricky and John Robinson, all of Clermont, Fla.; as well as her grandchildren Christina, Carrie and Johnny Goins, all of Lewisburg, Preston and Ethan McElreath of South Carolina and Little Wesley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. W. Ed Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hurst Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In addition to her sons, pallbearers will be John Goins and Ronald, Wes, Moe, and Howard Hise.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Hot Springs Rescue Squad, P.O. Box N, Hot Springs, Va. 24445.
