Billy Triplett

Billy Lee Triplett, 54, of Blue Grass, died Friday, November 24, 1995 at his residence.

He was born November 25, 1940 at Boone, NC, a son of Tracy and Opal (Rhymer) Triplett.

He was a plumber for 28 years with the same company.

He is survived by his widow, Shirley (Gum) Triplett; a daughter, Brenda Lee Blizzard of Fredericksburg; two sons, Tracy E. of Blue Grass and Billy Lee Triplett Jr. of Caroline County; a half-sister, Darlene Severt of West Jefferson, NC; three half-brothers, Barrie of Davenport, Boyd of Boone and Bennie Miller of Big Stone Gap; and five grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn, with burial in Monterey Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Blizzard Sr. and Jr., Bill and Richard Gum, Carl Simmons, Kenny Hopkins, Pete Puffenbarger and Pat Raynor.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
