Beulah (Waybright) Tichenor, 85, of Monterey, died on Thursday, August 29, 1996 at Springs Nursing Center at Hot Springs.
She was born January 5, 1911 at Pendleton County, WV, a daughter of Ira and Etta (Rexrode) Waybright.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She had been employed as a nurse's aide at Oak Hill Health Care Center.
Her husband, Algie Tichenor, died on August 30, 1963. She was also preceded in death by three sons, LeRoy Junior Tichenor, Charles Berlie Tichenor and Kenneth Guy Tichenor.
Surviving are a sister, Rita Rohrbaugh of Monterey; a brother, Carl Waybright of Franklin, WV; three daughters-in-law, Martha Tichenor Thacker, Charlotte Tichenor and Rose Tichenor; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Haley, with burial at Green Hill Cemetery at Churchville.
Pallbearers will be Melissa Pike, Danny, Kevin and C.B. Tichenor and Harlan and Olin Waybright.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends and nephews attending the service.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.
