Beulah Mae Rexrode, 93, of Harrisonburg, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at Oak Lea Nursing Home.
She was born near Blue Grass in Highland County, a daughter of Jesse and Kate Fleisher Arbogast.
Her husband, Lloyd R. Rexrode Sr. preceded her in death in 1954.
She was a homemaker and had been a member of Harper’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She lived in Staunton prior to moving to Harrisonburg.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Charles Misner of Harrisonburg, Norma Jean and Melvin Echard of Monterey and Katherine Folks of Staunton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Brooks and Jane Rexrode of Waynesboro, Jimmy and Doris Rexrode of Fincastle and Lloyd Jr. and Gail Rexrode of Staunton; a brother, Broscoe Arbogast of Franklin; a sister, Esther Vandevender of Franklin, W.Va.; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. John A. Barnes and Stephanie Wilson with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie, David and Michael Rexrode, John and Tommy Lightner and Donald Folks.
Honorary pallbearers will be other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 Monday evening at the funeral home.
