Betty Ann “Bets” Baker, 42, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at Augusta Medical Center.
She was born May 12, 1959, at Manassas, a daughter of the late Joseph Delbert Sr. and Eva Frances Cornell Rexrode.
Prior to her illness, she was employed as a sales clerk at an automotive supply store. She enjoyed restoring and painting automobiles and loved the outdoors.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Clayton E. Baker and Sarah, of Triangle; a granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Baker; two sisters, JoAnn Malcolm of McDowell and Louise J. Rodriquize of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Michael W. Rexrode of Blue Grass and Joseph D. Rexrode Jr. of Craigsville; and a special friend and caretaker, Tammy Mitchell.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ginn officiating. Burial will be at Head Waters Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Losh, David Rodriquize, Denny and Peter Cornell, Ed Terrell and Ronald Wimer.
Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
