Arlie Wimer

Arlie Amos Wimer, 93, of Franklin, died Sunday, December 14, 1997 at Pendleton Nursing Home.

He was born on September 24, 1904, at Cave, WV, a son of Howard Lee and Mary Katherine (Gum) Wimer.

He was a master carpenter and he belonged to Harper Chapel Church.

He is survived by two cousins, Michael Halterman and Thelma Beverage.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Lynne Rexrode, Jack Beverage, Clement, James C. and Shawn Halterman, Dean Beverage, Donald Hedrick and Charles Armentrout.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home.
