Anna Bell (Pullin) Simmons, 88, of Staunton, died on Thursday, July 27, 1995 at Staunton Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on October 2, 1906 at McDowell, a daughter of Frank and Bertha (Wooddell) Pullin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashby Simmons.
She was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two step-daughters, Lona Mae Hiner of Staunton and Elizabeth Gilbert of Verona; three sisters, Lenora Hook of Waynesboro and Vada Tuning and Mary Chloe Pullin, both of Staunton; a brother, Theodore Pullin of Staunton; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Timothy Strock, with burial in McKendree Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Arch Armstrong, Robert Clay, Hugh, Gilbert and Frank Pullin and Lyle Armstrong.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home at McDowell.
