Andrew "Pee Wee" Stephenson

Andrew "Pee Wee" Emmett Stephenson, 97, of Williamsville, died Sunday, August 25, 1996 at Bath County Community Hospital.

He was born November 8, 1898 at Bath County, a son of William Emmett and Cora Lee (McAllister) Stephenson.

He was a member of the Williamsville Presbyterian Church.

He was married to the former Elva Leach, who died in 1959. His second wife, Virginia Copper (Ramsey) Stephenson, died September 19, 1994.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lee Jackson of Burnsville; a son, R.E. Stephenson of Williamsville; a sister, Josephine Woodzell of Hot Springs; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Williamsville Presbyterian Church by the Rev. DeLacy Young and Larry Burnson, with burial in Burnsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Obaugh Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby and Johnny Lockridge, Timmy and Barry Marshall, Charles McCormick, James Ervin and Kern Armstrong.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
