Alma Gregory

Alma Heishman Sites Gregory, 87, of Swoope, died Thursday, February 25, 1999, at Bridgewater Retirement Community.

Mrs. Gregory was born December 23, 1911, in Hardy County, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Sarah Rebecca Landacre Heishman.

She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church and a nurses’ aide.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Enoch R. Sites and Andrew J. Gregory.

Surviving are one daughter, Betty Sites Terry of Churchville; three sons, Harold Heishman of Milford, Delaware, Ray Heishman of Grottoes and Jamie Sites of Shreveport, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Gary Hodges will conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Monday at the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, where the family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Bank Mennonite Church Cemetery, Route 3, Dayton.
